High-fidelity CZ gates and graph states for quantum computation in neutral atoms
Speaker: Dr. Hsiang-Hua Jen (任祥華助研究員), IAMS, Academia Sinica

Abstract:
In this talk, I will talk about two recent works on quantum gates for circuit-based
quantum computation and multipartite entangled states for one-way quantum computation
using neutral atoms. In the first work, we have studied the high-fidelity Cz gates with
time-optimal pulses, which is crucial for deep quantum circuits which require high
enough gate fidelity. The second work focuses on generation of graph states in an atom-
nanophotonic interface, where multipartite entangled states are the essential resource
for measurement-based quantum computation with only single-qubit measurements. We
utilize the state carving technique to create these scalable graph states, which can be
useful for problem-specific applications
